Winners! They each received a $500 scholarship. Lorryn Bolte, Daughter of Pike Co. PT Karen Bolte and Danielle Leeper, Daughter of Caldwell Co. PT Debbie Leeper Danielle was also selected as the 2009 MWA scholarship recipient in the amount of $1,500. Her application will be submitted to compete for the national scholarship valued at $2,500. Congratulations to both Lorryn and Danielle!

To nominate someone or yourself, simply email Jackson Jones with the name of the member and the number of accumulated Sick Leave Hours. MASCOE does not receive any reports, so the only way we are able to know who is eligible for this award is when we are notified. need to be aware of the proposed legislation that would allow employees
to apply their sick leave toward their retirement annuity. Although
